loctite 242 should do stop them from coming lose. If one is already striped then you can go to home depot and get another one if they have one that will fit. You could also call currietech for replacement parts at 1-800-377-4532 that way you can make sure you get an exact match.

First off contact Currie's service department and explain the problem. If the stripped screw is in the motor or gearbox the should send you and new motor system. You can use loctite to secure the good screws. Be sure to use a light duty (removeable) lictite or simular product. Loctite also makes a product that will work for repairing the stripped thread. I am assuming the screw is good and the hole in the casting is stripped.

I have 4 on the Currie EZip motors and have never heard of this problem. I am wondering if you have some strang vibration causing the problem.

Depending where you got the bike maybe the best thing is to just return it for a new one.

I have 2 bikes, one for my wife and one for me. mine has been modified and now has twin motor. In addition I bought a used motor as a spare. None of the 4 motors have had this problem nor have I read or heard of this happening. It's not a normal problem so honestly I wouldn't worry about it happening again.

Can you tell us what screws are coming loose? MAybe a pic. I'm not clear if you are talking about the long mounting screws or the shorted screws.

As I said it's unlikely this would happen a second time. But if your worried about it the only thing you can do is loctite them in place with light duty loctite.

EDIT:.......If you remover the allen screws be sure to use a metric allen wrench so you don't strip the hex on the screw.
